Westshore Regional Fire Department Study - Public Meeting

The Cities of Bay Village, Fairview Park, Lakewood, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, Rocky River and Westlake have contracted with Emergency Services Consulting, International (ESCI) through a grant provided by EfficientGovNow.  ESCI is a consulting group that has studied fire departments throughout the country and has made recommendations about consolidating services and identifying cooperative efforts.  These might range from joint purchasing to merging of department functions.  They have visited all seven cities and fire departments and talked extensively with city officials.  We have provided statistics, facts and figures about our cities and our fire departments so that ESCI could get as accurate a picture of where we are today. 

Now, it is time for public input.

For the purpose of informing the public of the progress so far and to allow members of the public to ask questions and make comments, two public meetings have been scheduled.  They will be held:

Tuesday, March 9th

The meetings will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
