Heritage House Construction Update

Date:    5/04/07

The Board of Directors has asked Nyman Construction employees and their sub-contractors to refer all construction related questions directly to the Board of Directors.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

 GOOD NEWS:

The owner of unit 104 has graciously offered the use of that unit for the model unit.  Work has begun and should be completed within 3 to 4 weeks.  Once the model is completed, Jim Driscoll of Nyman Construction, will meet individually with all unit owners, to review the finishes (such items as, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, counter tops, flooring, painting, plumbing and electrical fixtures, etc) and begin the selection process for your individual units.

In the meantime, all ceilings, insulation and carpeting have been removed from units 117-127 and 217-227.  The insulation and carpeting has been removed from units 317-327. The carpeting is part of the claim, with allowance to be determined.

For owners of the aforementioned units, now is your opportunity (while the ceilings are down) to upgrade electrical, telephone or cable outlets.  It is also a good time to consider new windows, a new HVAC system or any other remodeling work that you have been putting off.  Please keep in mind that these upgrades and the associated costs will not be covered by State Auto Insurance Company, the Association’s insurance carrier.
