From the Heritage
House Condominium Association Board of Directors
November 13, 2006
Thank
you for completing the county forms for Valuation Reduction for Destroyed
or Injured Property! Reductions should be reflected in our December tax
bills.
The
roof on the building is going up. As of Friday, November 10, roofers were
putting up shingles on the North Wing.
The
portico roof in the front of the building was temporarily removed as it
was damaged and a hazard.
Our
pool was drained and made ready for the winter season.
Our
landscapers have been retained in reduced capacity to maintain our
property at an acceptable appearance level.
The Heritage
House Board of Directors met with the Rocky River Fire Department. The
Fire Chief mandated that a sprinkler system and an alarm system be
installed throughout the entire building and in all units. There will be
an assessment to individual unit owners. As of this writing there is no
final estimate as to the amount of the assessment.
As of
yet there has been no discussion as to the restoration process of
individual units. Unit owners will be informed when this process begins.
The
actual replacement of the garage roof has been postponed until Spring,
2007.
A
general meeting of the Owners’ Association will be called as soon as there
is useful information as to the assessment amount and possible return
dates to Heritage House. As with the last meeting, owners will receive a
phone call announcing the meeting at least one week ahead.
A
reminder about the mailing address for maintenance fees and other
correspondence:
