Rocky River PTA Council is composed of its own executive board and representatives from the executive boards of the High School PTA, Middle School PTA, Kensington PTA, Goldwood PTA and the Rocky River Early Childhood PTA.
The objectives of the Rocky River PTAs, in conjunction with those of the National PTA and the Ohio PTA, are:
A. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.
B. To raise the standards of home life.
C. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
D. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
E. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
The public is welcome to attend meetings which are held the second Tuesday of September, November, January, March and May at 12:30 P.M. at Beach Education Center. Each year the Council hosts a spaghetti dinner on the Friday of Homecoming Weekend which provides funds for scholarships for graduating seniors.
