Winner of the Ohio Parks and Recreation "Outstanding" award!

Work is complete on the $100,000 capital improvement project at Rocky River Park.  Improvements include erosion control with a series of four stone retaining walls, creating a terrace and amphitheater effect; a paver walkway with benches offering a wonderful lake view from the top of the park; and new landscaping.  The project received an "Outstanding" award from Ohio Parks and Recreation (OPRA).  The award will be presented at the OPRA Conference in February, 2007.

$20,000 of the project is from the Parks and Recreation "Hole in One"  2004 contest.  Thanks to Huntington Bank for their generous sponsorship of the "Hole in One."
