On behalf of the City of Rocky River, RITA (the Regional Income Tax Agency) is processing and mailing the fourth quarter 2016 estimated income tax bills.
The estimated income tax payment due dates changed as a result of a state law (House Bill No. 5) passed in 2014 and effective January 1, 2016. A provision of the new law established uniform due dates for estimated income tax payments for all taxing entities throughout Ohio, including Rocky River.
The fourth quarter 2016 estimated income tax payment is due December 15, 2016.
Please note, the due date changes are not a result of the City’s conversion from CCA to RITA.
Through the RITA website www.ritaohio.com, you may:
- Make a payment; and credits
- Confirm payments, amount(s) due and credits;
- Review payment history;
- Adjust the amount due.
Instructional video tutorials are available on the website by selecting Resources, then Self-Help How-to Videos for Taxpayer. The self-help videos are also embedded in the e-service applications.
In-person assistance is available by visiting the Brecksville office or a branch location. You may use RITA's automated phone service, available 24 hours a day, or speak to a RITA customer service agent by calling (800) 860-7482.
