2018 Common Ground - Community Connections and Conversation in Rocky River
Last year The Cleveland Foundation encouraged and organized small groups of people to gather on the same day to engage in conversations inspired by the theme “On the Table.” Building on the positive response of last summer, there will be even more locations in at least four counties hosting conversations.
Rocky River Public Library, League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland Rocky River Chapter, and the City of Rocky River are hosting a conversation at the Don Umerley Civic Center on Sunday, June 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Using the current theme of “Why Does Place Matter” we will be asking for your thoughts on at least one of the following issues: Aging in Place, Building Neighborhoods, Connecting Generations, and Volunteer Opportunities. No need to research in advance, all you need is an open mind and an opinion. Light refreshments will be served.
