Detroit Road Paving
The initial, intermediate layer of asphalt is installed - castings and catch basins will remain exposed. Road repairs have started in the construction zone: from the I-90 ramps to Lakeview on Detroit Road. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times; however, where street repairs are being made – there will be no turning lane available. Please expect traffic delays in and near the construction repair zone. That construction zone will continually move along Detroit – with a construction zone blocking one lane of traffic at a time and leaving 2 lanes of traffic maintained at all times.
Within the construction zone crossing ramps at the intersections will be replaced and concrete repairs will be made. After road / concrete repairs are complete, then a final layer of asphalt will be installed from the Westlake line to Wooster and including a section of Wooster (just south of the Heinen’s driveway). The road repairs and paving for Detroit will continue through October 31st Thank you for your patience regarding traffic delays near the road repair construction zone.
The ODOT / Detroit Road paving project includes Wooster Road paving which will begin in late spring, 2019 as weather allows. (Wooster Road will be paved next year from Center Ridge to the Heinen’s driveway.)

The final layer of asphalt will be scheduled once all adjustments are completed.
Hampton – concrete installation for the roadway is complete on the east side of the street. Concrete will be poured for aprons next week as weather allows. Parking is permitted on Lakeview and on Gasser Blvd. If your apron does not have concrete installed on Monday or Tuesday, then it will be filled with stone for access during the remainder of the week.
