WOMEN'S COMMITTEE OF THE ROCKY RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY

1600 Hampton, Rocky River, OH 44116

The Women's Committee was founded in 1953 for the purpose of raising funds for the needed extras not affordable from the intangible taxes that finance the Library. Since 1969, this has been accomplished by planning and executing the semi-annual book sales.

Membership is open to women interested in volunteering their time and expertise in promoting this project.

Currently, there are four meetings a year. Business meetings, preceding the book sales, are held at the Library on the second Tuesday morning of the month. In May and December, there are luncheon meetings. Special programs are presented at all occasions.
