Currently, repairs to the Wooster Road sewers are being completed between Riverview and Detroit Road. Once sewer repairs are completed, a paving project will begin from north of Scenic (near Heinen’s) to Center Ridge. First, the road will be milled (top layer ground off) and an intermediate layer of pavement will be installed to protect the sub-street. After the installation of the intermediate layer of asphalt – road repairs will be completed which will include improvements at sidewalk crossing ramps at side street intersections. Once all repairs and concrete work is complete, the final layer of asphalt will be applied with street markings to follow. The paving schedule depends on weather conditions and is anticipated to continue through the summer.

The water main line will be replaced on Eriewood. This work will require temporary water service lines being installed for each residence. Materials and equipment will be delivered and stored on the street including temporary water service. The temporary water service will not be used until testing by the City of Cleveland Division of Water is complete. The work is also weather dependent.

The City of Rocky River with the cooperation of Cuyahoga County will pave Hilliard Boulevard (a county route) from Lakeview to River Oaks in 2019 and from River Oaks to the Westlake corporation line in 2020. Work is anticipated to begin in mid-summer and continue through this fall and then resume in spring, 2020.

City streets to be paved in 2019 are: Dale, Beach Cliff (Frazier to Wooster), Sunnyhill, Riverwood, Laurel, Purnell, and Harwich. Street repairs will be made on Kingsbury, Addington and Kingsmill Run.
