City Parks

The Bates Road Tot Lot at 711 Bates Road was dedicated on October 27, 2005. The fenced area features a play structure for ages 2 - 5 with two slides, three climbing areas, a tunnel, a "steering wheel" and two elevated platforms. The structure is ADA accessible with a safety playground surface.

City Hall Park

With two playground features, one is sized for ages 2 - 5; the other for ages 5 - 12. The larger structure features three slides, two climbing walls and several other pieces of unique play equipment. The playground also has a new swingset with tot swings. The installation included safety surfacing in and around all of the equipment.

Bradstreet’s Landing boasts a fully renovated pier for fishing, improved green space for relaxation and a newly installed boardwalk over Spencer Creek.

City Park Policies

  • Parks are open from dawn to dusk, daily.

  • Spaces are first come- first serve unless otherwise noted/permit issued.

  • Alcohol is prohibited in all city parks.

  • Smoking or tobacco use is not permitted on city grounds.

  • Dogs must be kept on a 6’ leash while in city parks.

  • Tennis/Pickleball Courts are to be used on a first come- first serve basis. Please allow participants to ‘play-in’ as matches end.

  • Recreation programming takes priority over informal use of spaces.

  • Not for profit or exchange of funds programming may not be conducted without approval for the Recreation Department. Authorization is required for group programming.

  • Rocky River Park & Linden Park Restrooms operate year round. Others will close no later than November 1st of each year.
